Working alongside Technical Architects, Project Managers and Senior Software Developers you will lead the Software Development team (4), owning and driving technical projects from inception through to delivery. Typically, technical projects are diverse and interesting, ranging from building new website functionality to API development to Greenfield custom algorithms, however, please note this is not a pure management role as you will need to contribute technically to projects, including regular programming (PHP or Java).
To qualify... We are seeking Development Managers, Senior Software Developers, Senior Software Engineers or similar who are full of ideas, technical knowhow and CVs that highlight the following:
• Extensive relevant hands-on technical experience combined with a strong individual technical record.
• Exceptional programming skills in either PHP or Java.
• Experience in managing agile teams, and an in depth understanding of Scrum.
• People management skills with a proven track record of mentoring and coaching team members.
• University Degree in Computer Science
• A proven track record in Software Engineering, Software Development or Web Development.
