Front End Developer (Lead), London
Thoughtomatic is a creative agency specialising in creating engaging experiences for our clients. We work with global multinationals to individual artists and everyone in between. We have won awards for our websites and would quite like to fill the mantelpiece with a few more.

About you

Essential
-Solid understanding of Front End Development, including - XHTML, CSS, Html5.
-Excellent javascript framework experience using Mootools and JQuery.
-Proven Commercial web development experience in PHP 5 and understanding of object oriented concepts.
-Proven experience of working with industry standard frameworks such as Zend Framework or similar MVC framework.
-Good knowledge of MySQL.
-Experience with Version Control (SVN).
Desirable
-Proven ability to work with other people's code.
-Solid knowledge of industry and technology trends.
-Knowledge of Linux and ability to work on the command line.
-Good understanding of DNS.
-Good understanding of mobile (site/apps) development.
-Familiar with Plesk.
-Understanding of FTP.
-Social App Development - experience in building social sites or applications (Facebook, etc).
-Understanding of opensource CMS software.
-High traffic website optimization techniques like caching, asset compressing/merging etc.
-Familiar with Adobe design tools like Photoshop and Illustrator.
-Agency experience
