PHP Developer, South Cumbria, £20 - £25k, kendal / cumbria

PHP Developer, South Cumbria, £22 - £26k
Our client require a PHP web developer on a full-time basis, to work on a variety of interesting PHP Development projects, and in particular work on a challenging larger development project.

Skills required:

PHP programming - must be experienced with object-oriented development. You will need to use the object-oriented features of PHP5. Experience with a PHP framework such as CodeIgniter or Kohana would be advantageous.
Version control - familiarity with a version control system such as Subversion or Git would be an advantage.
Linux/Unix skills - basic familiarity with the command line on Unix or Linux operating systems is required. Advanced knowledge would be an advantage.

Database - good knowledge of SQL is essential, particularly MySQL.
HTML/CSS - good working knowledge of HTML and CSS is required.
Javascript - expertise in Javascript would be an advantage, particularly use of the MooTools framework.
