Senior PHP developer, Hatfield
A dynamic, entrepreneurial web-based design and print business is looking to expand its range of web-based products and services.
It is looking for an experienced Senior PHP Developer to take overall responsibility for managing the company’s website, as part of a small imaginative and enthusiastic team. As well as hands-on responsibility for maintaining and developing the website, the role includes the opportunity to assist in shaping the strategic and creative direction of the company.
The successful applicant will be motivated, professional, and able to work independently to deliver results. They will have excellent experience of managing eCommerce system development , from administration and performance monitoring, to debugging and problem solving. They will arrive with strong PHP 5, MySql 4+, Jquery, Xhtml, and CSS2 skills; and experience of at least one PHP Framework, preferably CodeIgniter. Desirable skills include project management, server administration, database administration, DNS, Apache, RSS, and SEO.
This is an excellent opportunity to take responsibility for an already successful transactional website, with excellent customer feedback, and develop it further, delivering even greater value through innovation in technology and design. Remuneration will match experience and delivery.
