Web Developer, Hook, Hampshire
Highly creative digital agency is looking for a specialist Web Developer to join their small yet strong development team.
Working on a wide range of web and application development projects, you’ll need to demonstrate your ability to build relationships across the agency disciplines and get involved wherever necessary, whether that be chatting things over with the designers/UX or getting stuck in with the server side components of sites.
This agency sees development as an integral part of the creative process, so you’ll be involved in projects from the very start right through to the finish on a variety of sites, applications and projects across their client portfolio.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Expert HTML & CSS + awareness of their latest developments
• JavaScript, JQuery - experience with common frameworks such as Python, Symphony + a penchant for prototypes, experiments and progressive enhancement
• HTML5 - some exposure to building interactive applications using HTML5 canvas, CSS animations
• Exposure and knowledge of CMS either commercial, enterprise level or open source
• Some knowledge of .NET, PHP for server side development
• Hand-coded JavaScript Experience working with MVC Frameworks
• Knowledge of Facebook API / application development. Other common APIs: Twitter, Google maps
• HTML email development
• Attention to detail / flexible, positive attitude etc.
• Demonstrable high quality work and personal projects
Overall, this agency is looking for an all-round, passionate web developer with around 1-3 years development experience, including time within an agency.
